The pet parent
One account for every pet in the household.
Go beyond daycare and boarding software.
Gingr helps facilities run reservations, bookings and pet-parent communication. Petworking is being built to connect the whole pet-care relationship around that: business operations and payments, portable pet records, marketplace discovery, professional referrals and order-ahead pickup.

All nine, one recordScope, not quality. A short bar is a product that chose a lane and is probably excellent in it. We are arguing that the animal does not live in one lane.

Checked against Gingr’s own public product pages, help centre and pricing documentation on 15 September 2026. A tick means they publish it, a tilde means they publish something close with a caveat we have stated, and a dash means we found nothing. Vendors change fast: send us anything we have got wrong and we will fix it and say so.
This is the strongest software-switch case of the three, and it is still volume-limited: cheaper up to about $1,029 a month in card volume on Independent, and about $1,909 on the free plan.
Plan against plan: your Petworking tier plus payment processing, against a named Gingr tier plus Square in-person processing at 2.5%. Both sides have tiers, so pick the two that actually match your operation. The figure is whatever it is, including when it goes the other way.
Both sides exclude per-booking amounts: Petworking's $0.30 a transaction, and any fixed per-transaction charge on the other side. Petworking's 7% marketplace commission is excluded because it applies only to transactions Petworking generates, and is $0 on clients you bring yourself. Gingr Spa: Third-party listing, $95 to $114. To verify. Gingr's own pricing page publishes no figures, and third-party listings disagree: Spa is quoted between $95 and $114 a month per location depending on the source, daycare about $169, boarding up to about $209, and one listing puts monthly billing at $127 with a setup fee of $300 per location, or $200 on annual billing. Payments, SMS and staff scheduling are sold as add-ons. Every figure here is third-party. To verify. Most of these vendors publish in US dollars while Petworking prices in Canadian dollars, which moves the crossover once converted. Vendor pricing changes, so check it before you decide.
Subscription and processing are compared separately at your selected plan and volume. The crossover above uses the reference prices shown, not a promise that switching always saves money. Confirm the current Gingr quote before deciding.
Facility software starts with the building and the reservation. Petworking starts with the pet, then connects the businesses, professionals, records, bookings, payments and products around them. A dog boarded with you in August is the same pet record their groomer, trainer and vet are working from.
One account for every pet in the household.
Records, licences, permits and certifications the pet parent carries between businesses.
Vet, groomer, trainer, walker, sitter. Records, bookings and progress in one place.
Retail, subscriptions and payments, collected from the business that sold it. Delivery coming soon.
The category is already proven
pet parents already use Gingr, so vertical pet software is not a hypothesis
reservations facilitated, which is the booking volume this category runs on
report cards sent, so pet-parent communication is already a core workflow

Petworking Founding Pros are set up by the people building the product, not handed a knowledge base.
Your business should not have to figure out the platform alone.
12.6 million Canadian pets are not dogs or cats. Petworking is being built for the whole pet world.
One platform should not require every animal outside the two largest categories to become “Other.”
Canada had approximately 29.76 million pets in 2024, of which roughly 12.58 million were neither dogs nor cats. Agriculture and Agri-Food Canada, Pet food trends in Canada, 2025. Data year 2024.
Petworking is being designed to import your existing business data rather than forcing you to rebuild it manually. We can migrate or preserve:
