Business Software and a Pet Care Network for Animal Professionals
You built the business. Keep it.
Bookings, records, commerce and referrals in one account. Groomers, vets, boarding, daycare, training, walking, sitting and rescues.
Payment processing is its own line at its own rate. There is no platform fee stacked on top of it at checkout, on a statement, on a payout or in an export.
Free to start, no card and no time limit. Registered rescues pay no subscription, on any tier.
4.25% + $0.30 on every paid transaction. Paid plans take payment processing down to 3.35% + $0.30.
A transaction Petworking generated carries the 7% marketplace commission as well. A client you brought yourself carries no commission at all.
Payment processing applies to every paid transaction. The marketplace commission is 7% on every plan and applies only to a transaction Petworking generated. It is $0 on a client you brought yourself.
One business platform on your side. One pet-care account on theirs.
What you save switching from MoeGo
Plan against plan: your Petworking tier plus payment processing, against a named MoeGo tier plus Square in-person processing at 2.5%. Both sides have tiers, so pick the two that actually match your operation. The figure is whatever it is, including when it goes the other way.
Both sides exclude per-booking amounts: Petworking's $0.30 a transaction, and any fixed per-transaction charge on the other side. Petworking's 7% marketplace commission is excluded because it applies only to transactions Petworking generates, and is $0 on clients you bring yourself. MoeGo Starter: Salon, per location. Published by MoeGo. MoeGo publishes salon plans at $79, $149 and $239 a month per location, and mobile plans at $49, $99 and $159 per van, with card processing billed separately. Most of these vendors publish in US dollars while Petworking prices in Canadian dollars, which moves the crossover once converted. Vendor pricing changes, so check it before you decide.
What you save on a new client against Rover
Rover's published sitter fee is 20% of the bookings it delivers, 25% in California and on RoverGO, and it applies for as long as that client keeps booking. The Petworking marketplace commission is 7% on every plan, it applies only to a transaction Petworking generated, and it is $0 the next time that same client books you directly.
Rover figures use its published 20% sitter fee from Rover's help centre. California and RoverGO are 25%, an 11% booking fee is charged to the owner on top, and Rover is testing per-client tiers in selected cities. Payment processing applies to the transaction as well, as it does to every paid transaction, and it is a named rate rather than a hidden margin. A client who books you directly next time carries no marketplace commission at all.
Replacing the software you already pay for is a different question, and the answer depends on your volume. On the free plan Petworking comes in under a $79 subscription plus Square processing up to about $1,500 a month in card volume. Above that the incumbent is often the cheaper line item, and each comparison page runs the arithmetic either way.
Run the switch calculatorKeep your own figure
Set the account up with the volume you just entered and the plan comparison stays on your dashboard. The free plan has no card and no time limit, and you can change plan in either direction later.
Eight things that are true on any plan
Every field your business owns is editable by your business
Hours, services, prices, staff, species you take, handling notes, the storefront copy. If it is yours, you change it in the console. Nothing about your own listing needs a support ticket.
The animal's record arrives with the booking
Species, weight, allergies, medication, the note about the dryer, who else is involved in their care. You start the appointment with what the last professional wrote down instead of asking the pet parent to remember it.
Every species, none of them Other
Rabbits, rats, ferrets, budgies, cockatiels, bearded dragons, corn snakes, tortoises. Each species has its own fields and its own record, so a parrot is never entered on a dog form.
Your customers do not have to adopt anything
Every flow has a staff-entered path. A client who never opens the app is still booked, still charged, still sent a reminder, and their animal’s record still gets written.
Order ahead, collect at the counter
The customer pays in full when they order, you redeem a four digit code or a QR at the counter, and the payment releases after fulfilment. Delivery is coming later, so nothing is promised on that yet.
Money and stock are append-only
Refunds accumulate rather than overwrite, and stock derives from a movement log. The number on the screen can be traced back to the entries that produced it, which is what makes month end short.
Staff act under their own logins
Permissions are enforced on the server, not by hiding a button. Every action is recorded against the person who took it, so a discount, a refund or a record change has a name on it.
Exports are free, unlimited and complete
Customers, animals, bookings, products, movements, payouts. Leaving is a supported action rather than a support ticket, and your data is readable on the way out.
What Petworking does not measure you against
No Professional Score. No percentile. No benchmark against other groomers.
Petworking does not compute a score, a percentile or a benchmark for a professional. Your credentials, verifications, hours and history are what a stranger sees. Reputation is evidence, not a number somebody computed about you. This is permanent policy, not a launch limitation.
A badge that says what it proves
Five families, and the family follows from the credential and the authority behind it rather than from whoever reviewed it. A field with no statutory register can never read as a professional licence.
A verification attaches to a subject: the person, the business, the location, the service or the animal. It carries the country, region, municipality and issuing authority it came from, and a lapse switches off only what that subject covers. Ontario OAVT registration reads RVT registration verified.

$0 to start
Payment processing is 4.25% + $0.30 on Free and falls to 3.35% + $0.30 on Multi-site.
A transaction Petworking generates carries the separate 7% marketplace commission as well. A direct transaction carries no marketplace commission.

Founder free for life.
Both figures are the real count. Neither is a countdown we invented.
We would rather build this with twenty-five people who care than launch quietly to nobody.
We are inviting 25 pet businesses to help us build Petworking. The Founding 25 get their first location on Multi-site, our highest tier, free for life: no subscription, permanently. Transaction fees apply at Multi-site rates, which are the lowest we charge anyone.
Card processing is its own line, at your plan’s rate.
On a $53.00 groom payment processing on the free plan is $2.55, and you receive $50.45. We pay the card processor, so there is no platform fee stacked on top. If Petworking generated the transaction the 7% marketplace commission applies as well. A registered rescue pays no subscription and no marketplace commission, on any transaction, and still pays payment processing.
