The roadmap

Live on the wild side.

Petworking starts as one network for the people and businesses already caring for animals. Everything after that grows outward from the same record: the passport the animal carries with them.

Eight phases follow. Three are being built now. Two are committed. Three are direction, stated so you can hold us to them.

It grows outward, not forward

A roadmap drawn as a line implies each phase replaces the last. This one does not. Every ring adds to the record at the centre and nothing displaces what came before.

Now is what you can use. Next is committed and being specified. Later is the direction, undated on purpose: a date on a public page becomes a promise, and we would rather state the order than invent a calendar.

Phase OneBuilding now

The Petwork

Connecting the people and businesses already caring for animals today.

The pet stays at the centre of the network.

  • A portable digital Pet Passport
  • Pet parent records and care management
  • Booking and payments
  • A marketplace for pet businesses
  • Business tools for pet professionals
  • Rescue and adoption continuity
  • Professional verification
  • Reviews, favourites, loyalty and stamps
Phase TwoBuilding now

Managing pet care

The network gets more useful before, during and after every interaction with an animal.

Core records stay free. Pro adds management around the record, never ownership of it.

  • Health, vaccination and medication records
  • Licences and permits
  • Caretakers and household permissions
  • Spending, budgets and insurance
  • Travel records
  • Behaviour and health tracking
  • Lost-pet information
  • Care handoffs between family and professionals
Phase ThreeBuilding now

The operating system for the industry

One platform in place of the disconnected software pet businesses run today.

Different professions get different workflows inside one shared network.

  • CRM, scheduling, payments
  • Ecommerce and inventory
  • Marketing and finance
  • Staff and multi-location
  • Professional networking
  • Client and pet records
  • Migration off whatever you run now
  • Subscriptions, loyalty, multi-site
Phase FourCommitted

The physical Petwork

Petworking is not meant to live only on a screen.

The point is to make the network visible in the world.

  • Physical passport books and cards
  • Real stamps from real businesses
  • QR and NFC
  • Rescue events and community activations
  • Pet-friendly venues
  • Travel experiences
Phase FiveCommitted

Logistics

As density grows, Petworking can move goods as well as bookings.

Pickup is the only fulfilment during beta. Logistics grows when demand and economics justify it, and not before.

  • Merchant support
  • Mobile commerce
  • Inventory movement
  • Local fulfilment
  • Supplier relationships
  • Regional activation
Phase SixDirection

Resources

Making the cost of responsible care easier to prepare for.

Built with regulated partners. Petworking is not a bank and will not describe itself as one until it is entitled to.

  • Pet savings accounts
  • Emergency care funds
  • Pet spending cards
  • Care financing and credit
  • Insurance tools
  • Later, everyday accounts and investing
Phase SevenDirection

Smart Systems

Animal health information is scattered across homes, clinics, devices and research.

No inference reaches a user. Machine learning may organise research and surface source material. It never decides, scores, suggests or generates anything you see.

  • Activity and GPS devices
  • Smart feeders and connected scales
  • Habitat and environmental sensors
  • Veterinary and laboratory systems
  • Research access and evidence generation
Phase EightDirection

The international Pet Passport

A passport that works wherever an animal goes. Across cities, across providers, across countries.

The strongest version of this is not a closed ecosystem. It is a standard that lets information move with the animal.

  • Identity and microchip information
  • Vaccination and health documentation
  • Medication history, allergies, conditions
  • Emergency information
  • Travel documentation
  • Rescue and adoption records
  • Trusted caregiver permissions
  • Professional verification
Founding Pet Parents

The first 100 Pet Parents get Founder free for life.

The founding benefit changes what those accounts pay. It does not change Petworking's commitment that core animal records remain free.

We are animals too.

Every phase here is in service of one thing: an animal being known by the people who look after it. The record belongs to the animal, it travels with them, and nothing on this page changes that.
