What records cost you here
The passport, the medical history, the vaccination dates and the licences are free, permanently, however many animals you have. Move the slider and the free line does not move. Pro is the only figure that changes, and it buys analysis rather than access.
Free record apps exist, so this is not a bill anyone has to pay. What Pro buys is the analysis on top: spending by animal and by business, budgets, receipt-based totals and exports. It never controls access to the record, and cancelling removes the analysis and nothing else.

11pets is the closest comparison in the category, and its own terms state that products for pet families and animal welfare organisations are free of charge. So this is not a price comparison. It is a comparison of what the record can do once you have it.
