All nine, one recordScope, not quality. A short bar is a product that chose a lane and is probably excellent in it. We are arguing that the animal does not live in one lane.

Every plan and every volume comes out ahead here, and the gap grows the more of your work arrives through the marketplace.
Rover's published sitter fee is 20% of the bookings it delivers, 25% in California and on RoverGO, and it applies for as long as that client keeps booking. The Petworking marketplace commission is 7% on every plan, it applies only to a transaction Petworking generated, and it is $0 the next time that same client books you directly.
Rover figures use its published 20% sitter fee from Rover's help centre. California and RoverGO are 25%, an 11% booking fee is charged to the owner on top, and Rover is testing per-client tiers in selected cities. Payment processing applies to the transaction as well, as it does to every paid transaction, and it is a named rate rather than a hidden margin. A client who books you directly next time carries no marketplace commission at all.
This comparison is marketplace commission only: 7% for Petworking on every plan versus the reference 20% Rover sitter fee. Petworking payment processing is separate and is not included in the saving shown.
A marketplace earns its fee by finding you someone new. Rover's published fee is 20% of the booking, and it applies to the bookings after it as well. Petworking charges 7% commission only on transactions it generates. When that client books you directly next time the marketplace commission is $0, and normal payment processing still applies. Attribution belongs to the transaction, never permanently to the customer.
