How pet sitters can handle booking, billing and client updates in one place

By Raymond Chizanga ·

Pet sitting should not require three apps and an accounting ritual.

A customer books.

The sitter performs the visit.

The customer receives an update.

Payment happens.

The business records the transaction.

Those things belong to one connected workflow.

The visit is the centre

Software often treats payment as the main event.

It is not.

The animal receiving care is the main event.

The booking and payment exist around that.

So the visit record should connect:

the customer,

the animal,

the sitter,

the time,

the service,

the notes,

the update,

and the payment.

That gives the business a usable history.

Updates should be easy

Pet parents want to know how things went.

That does not mean sitters should spend fifteen minutes after every walk composing a novella.

A good system should make useful updates fast.

Photo.

Visit complete.

Relevant care note.

Something unusual if necessary.

Done.

Technology should reduce the administrative load without making the care feel robotic.

That distinction matters.

People are trusting you with something alive.

The software can be efficient.

The relationship still needs to feel human.
