Petworking Protected Payment
The business transfer follows completion.
You pay at checkout through a payment provider, not into a Petworking bank account. After collection or service completion, Petworking instructs the provider to transfer the business’s share.
How you get paid
The customer pays
The payment provider processes the checkout charge. The proceeds do not enter a Petworking bank account.
You fulfil
Redeem the pickup code at the counter, or mark the booking complete.
Your transfer is requested
After the release window, Petworking instructs the provider to transfer your share. Bank arrival follows the provider’s payout schedule.
A pickup is redeemed with a rotating PIN or a QR code. Staff use whichever is faster at the counter.
What you set
Release window
24 or 48 hours
How long after fulfilment Petworking waits before requesting the business transfer. 24 hours is the default.
Collection charge
0 to 25%
Deducted from the refund when an order is never collected. 10% is the default.
Grace period
Per category
How long an uncollected order stays reserved before restock. Shorter on perishables.
When the payment is released
Pickup is the only fulfilment option during beta. The delivery row describes how Protected Payment will behave when delivery arrives.
When an order is not collected
The order becomes Uncollected when the window expires. It stays reserved through a grace period the business sets per product category, shorter on perishables, and is restocked at the end of it.
The buyer is refunded the order value less a collection charge. The charge is a percentage of the order value the business sets between 0 and 25%, and the buyer receives the balance.
The collection charge is business revenue. The normal transaction fee applies to it. Nothing else is added.
