Questions
When does QuickBooks open?
When Petworking’s Intuit production credentials are in place. Until then this page says so.
Is anything applied before I see it?
No. Every first import is held for you to review: customers, animals, products, stock and past sales, each row as it will land. Nothing is written until you apply it, and a row you leave out stays out.
Will importing contact my customers?
No. Importing never emails or texts anyone. Inviting imported customers is a separate step you choose, and it follows Canada’s anti-spam law (CASL): only customers who bought from you in the last two years are invited, and anyone who has said no is left out.
Do I pay commission on customers I bring across?
No. A customer you imported carries no marketplace commission. The 7% applies only to a transaction Petworking generated, and history brought across from another system never carries commission.
What happens if I sync again?
Records already brought across are updated, never added twice. After your first import is applied you can let Petworking sync every hour, or keep reviewing each import yourself.
Where is my key kept?
Encrypted on Petworking’s servers and scoped to your business alone. It is never shown in the app or sent to your browser, and disconnecting removes it.
Can I disconnect?
Yes, at any time from Connected systems. Disconnecting stops every sync. What was already brought across stays in Petworking as your records.
